A glimpse into who I am beyond the code

More Than Just Code

I see software as a way to make complex ideas accessible and meaningful. My interest in programming began with curiosity about how systems work, and grew into a passion for building clear, thoughtful, and well-structured projects. I enjoy working across the stack, always with the end user in mind.

Outside of code, I write poetry and spend time reflecting on learning, communication, and human behavior. That habit of careful observation carries into my technical work as well, whether I’m designing an interface, explaining a concept as a student mentor, or building tools that prioritize clarity over cleverness.

Lead Teaching Assistant

September 2023 - Present

Managed and coordinated multiple TA teams to ensure consistent grading and feedback across large first-year CS courses. Mentored multiple students both academically and professionally, helping them develop strong programming and communication skills.

Revamped two first-year CS courses by redesigning curriculum, assignments, and assessments to improve clarity and learning outcomes. Developed programs to automate and assist repetitive tasks such as assignment grading and TA scheduling.
